Yup. Someone needs to take charge. I sure am not....too busy. The thing is, there are **NO** RX7 shop here. So, getting the word out will be hard unless you follow every FC and FD you see. Hmmm..then again that could be fun . Some would think you'd want to race him/her. By the way, the 10th Ann. from Cal is driven by a girl and she looks happy since she is smiling as she drives
Nothing like a nice sounding exhaust on the freeway huh?
She seems nice as she caught up with me in Waikiki and asked me "Is there an RX7 club here?" I said, "Yea, right!"
Not all FC and FD owners are on this froum or even knows it exists so it will be hard. Hell, I get a word that there will be a meet at Wendy's and I hear only 1 or 2 FCs and 1 FD show up. That's pretty sad. If you want, you could let them know about the forum and maybe they'll chime in .

Hmm...I have not seen a black TII except for Kevin Chun who lives in McCully area. You want to see a nice kit?
Take a look at the GP Sports kit.

A zillion times better than the Kalamari or Kanimari ...whatever it's called. I'm having my fiance look into it as we speak since she had to go back to Japan .
I'm everywhere so throw me a peace sign or whatever.

I just glanced but i saw what looked like a run wing. Very tasteful and expensive. The car looked very spoiled. Who would put a kaminari kit with a huge FMIC? Oh I just came back from tantlis or whatever its called. That is the best road Ive ever been on. I drove normal becuase Ive never been up, but I think I will try and speed up and slide more as I get familiar. I saw a honda group and they said something as I drove by. I think they were being dumb. Wow if you havent gone GO!

So, who is in charge of the FC ruise? Someone who has time should make fliers and put it on the windshield as they see one.
Ok...so what cars do you guys own? I'm lost who drives what.

Maybe we can post and paste or paste a pic?

I've got an FC too, No Turbo though

Hey fellas, I've met Wai and what's up HyperRex, haven't seen ya in a while. I just met a guy the other day who moved here from Washington state with a pretty decent 88 TII, he was wrenching over at the Pearl Harbor auto hobby shop. Friendly guy. Know a couple other guys with N/A FC's, and one guy that's selling his 90 TII. Body needs some work, but the car is definitely worth buying. Oh, one more thing, he's not asking 7800 bucks for it either! I've also heard that the guy with the corksport kit has a bad water seal. Just be careful if you're looking closely at buying that car. Anyway, to all the Hawaii FC's , if ya see me on the road wave hello! Maybe i'll get off work one of these drift session Saturday's again. Oh, I drive the blue 88 N/A FC with 16" 5 star 3 piece rims, no spoiler.

Downwinddave... are you in Kailua or Kaneohe? The background looks like the Windward side.

Rebuild?&nbsp Kinda fucked...
Stuck exhaust stud in the rotor housing.&nbsp Couldn't get at it, and we broke down to buy a $30(!!!) carbide drill bit to get that POS out!

Nobody is doing any cleaning, so I ended up cleaning all the housing last night!&nbsp The housing are all ported already.&nbsp Those bitches better clean the rest of that **** up by this weekend.

We found the front rotor actually has slight indentations in the rotor faces - detonation.&nbsp We gotta ask Jared WTF happened...

Man.....you gotta quit doing that ****. It's their car...let them clean it. No sense re-using the housing if it has indentations on it. Something must have gotten in there if it's not an apex seal or OMP not working properly?
Check the holes in the rotor housing to make sure it's not clogged. I haven't tried to take the part out since I'm running premix. It looked like a bitch to take out though.

Yeah, this is open for everyone...
We're trying to shoot for next weekend?
I don't want to fight the weekend night crowd, so how about like the 5pm-ish showing of Ballistic?&nbsp We can hang-out and check out each other's cars with a little sunlight before the movie...

As for roads, that **** is illegal...

At Campbell Industrial Park, there are lots of wide open spots and no traffic on the weekend for a nice group photo. I go down there to tune since there are no cops and roads are nice and straight. Some guys go to the end part of it to practice drifting. My sisters boyfriend just wrecked his newly $4000 painted Hachi and cracked his Watanabe rim that he bought from Japan .
He sure made a scene when he popped open a fire hydrant and rammed into a tree. Fire trucks, Water Dept. and cops were all there
The cops were cool though. One looking at the mega black "doughnuts" they all made asked them "Did you guys do this?" Of course they said "no" but I think he knew they were lying
You would think so too if you see a bunch of Hachis'
hanging out
He keeps asking me to go but my car is in NO way set up for drifting.
Ted, as for movies this weekend I can't go but next weekend should be OK.

How about 5pm-ish next Saturday - I'll get the movie info to nail down the exact time for the movie itself?
As for location, I realize that we're going to need space for at least a half dozen cars (maybe more?) - this narrows it down a bit unless someone knows the guards somewhere?
I like the Ward theaters - the parking lot across the street is pretty open and before dinner time it should be kinda empty.&nbsp I know guards patrol the lot, so I dunno what they would say if we just "hang out".
Top of Dole Cannery sounds like a good idea too - they got guards there too.&nbsp Both of these are in central Honolulu, so that makes it pretty easy for most people - I think?
The only other option is Kapolei...this would make it easy for Dave.

Anyone got other ideas?

We could head out to the windward side - the theaters at Windward Mall are pretty empty.

-Ted
