Soo how many RX-7s do you guys see on the streets? I just shipped my 90TII down and my NAs gonna leave here soon. Hopefully Ill catch you all around. My white TII has a NA hood on and 87 taillights, also it has "fixed" headlights. My NA is blue and has a TII hood and 90 tails. Both usually have atleast 2 gold wheels on.

Not too many. I don't see any TII around here. I saw one looked like an Anniv. model with Cali plates and he just moved here. He and the wife or girlfriend were pretty cool. Lately, people are asking about the TII and it is really strange. It's never happened before. I get offeres on my windshield and when I talk to guys at Speed Gear or hang out at Sonics, they ask if I know anyone who is selling one because they want one really bad. What's with the FC craze all of a sudden?
Most FC drivers are cool as they wave or give a peace sign. FD drivers, ack. I met one young FD owner at Sonics and he didn't know which end is the front or back. Pretty f*cking waste of a good car.
Hey, if you ever see a red TII on the road, give a waive.

Peace.

Yeah my cars are kinda mismatched. The TII was damaged so the old tails from my 86 went on and those went in the trash. The TII hood is on because I wrapped my vented hood on my NA over the roof. Im going to build a top mount IC and duct the NA hood and make a CF or FG replica. Yeah what a mess. Well both have 90 noses and rear bumper and mirrors. I may keep the 86 lights, they are that bad.

That's ok. Whatever you have to do to keep the cars running.
Don't feel too bad. Someone else did the wrap-a-roo when his hood latch didn't lock. There is a lot of NA running around here. I saw a few of them with out of state plates. There is supposedly an RX7 gathering somewhere but I never looked into it.

I saw the blue NA. I think he/she works there and it's recently owned because I always go to Daiei and haven't seen it.
I was going to drive by Wendys and see who's there but I had to install an AC at a friend's house.
Hmmm...you must go all over the place because I don't see any

It wasn't meant to all FD owners sorry, just the ones I've met at speed shops. I'm sure there are FD drivers here who knows what they're doing it's just that I've never come across any. Maybe I'll meet up with you guys
one day at Wendy's.

Uh, whoa...when did I say they were my friends?

Speaking of 930's, I just saw one in front of Kam Bowl (the oxtail was no different than KC Drive Inn's one - at least KC gave you pickled cabbage!) - freaking LOUD yellow screaming "drug dealer" all over it.

I haven't seen a SINGLE Turbo II yet - hell, IWNTA20B hasn't called me yet.&nbsp (Got the secret info the wifey was in town at the time.)&nbsp The two Turbo II's I'm working on don't count, as they both don't run.

I'm surprised at the low number of NA's running around, although the count has picked up a bit over the past week - weird.&nbsp I see the same ones day-in and day-out...blue metallic Kouki with the headlight cover vent - nasty red one buried behind McCully Zip's with the awful chrome rims with no center caps...

Tell that guy with the puke yellow green NA to get a clue!&nbsp ARGH!

????????? When the **** did you get here???
What TII are you working on?? I saw the green FC. YECK! No offense to the Philipinos but it was a Philipino driving. Most of the NA you see around are from the mainland. Some are military. I'll give you a call this week.

Well, maybe you can help diagnose this problem:
The car runs smooth but if there's any sudden acceleration around 2500 to 3000 rpm, it hesitates, then revs up smoothly. All the obvious have been checked and replaced.

hey ted so are you from HI or NV?
I got here a few weeks ago and Ive been busy workin. Im planing on swaping my 90TIIs guts into my recently fried 86. I somehow shorted the ECU 1 day before I shipped it. What a waste. Anyways. If anyones interested in a NA LSD let me know.

Damn, does this thread ever die?
Where are you at? I went to put in gas in kalihi and an FD pulls in with a loud exhaust and his idle was hunting all over the place. Anyway, it was a nice car and was going to say "what's up" but he put in what seems like $2.00 worth of gas and drove off. What's with FD drivers? Most FC drivers give a "what's up" passing each other or even on the other side of the freeway! Anyway, have a safe Labor Day y'all.

I think the FD guys arn't really snobby or anything, we are probally watching the boost, temp., rpm, speed and the road all the time when driving and probally don't see other FD/FC drivers on the road; we are really scared that we are gonna pop our engine

There is another Wendy's meet on the 7th of Sept. but I don't think that me or my brother are going. If enuf FD/FC owners go, we might show up. It's kinda far away and we always hit traffic when going there. (BTW: It's 30 miles of bumper to bumper traffic and when you don't got A/C when its 85+degrees with 60+% humidity, it sucks!)

Both are good drivers. They dont seem very friendly, especially to a car thats obviously a "drift car", my messed up NA. Oh well.

Ack. Get used to it. You'll never get a friendly "chat" from anyone around here unless you drive "their" car. You didn't think that you'd get a warm welcome from those 240's did you?
We are not in Japan.
Probably doesn't even know what a "Hachi" "Sylvia" "FC or FD" means. They'll go "Huh? What dat? Oh brah, my 240 get big turbo and some fast stuff"
Ask them , "What cam lift and duration you have on there" . They'll go "Huh?"
I haven't seen the black FC but a LOT of NAs around. There's a *NICE* 10th Ann. from Cal running around and I think they're on Hickam. I just saw a red NA I haven't seen before on the freeway going towards Downtown.
It's pretty hard to race anyone and can't make anyone bite. Now and then I'd get revved as they go by and when I chase them down and pull behind them , they slow down.
Anyway, take it easy.

well that depends... we shouldnt really set one up if only a few guys are going to come. if we're going to do it we really should represent. im sure we could do it, its just a matter of getting the word out. i think it'd be cool to see all these "rare cars" all out in one place. just my thoughts though.
