Didn't know there where so many.

I'm originally from Hawaii, in Seattle for college. I'll be back in June. Any RX-7 events I can go to watch in my corolla? No T2 yet . Maeda (I don't know if he is on the forum much now) is also from Hawaii and is looking for a T2 but he can't find one so he might go over to the mr2

RX7 event? In Hawaii? Hawaii-RX7-Event doesn't go together.

3rd gens think they're better than the FC owners. I had one run with a silver 3rd gen in Pearl City as he pulled along side me. Something must've been wrong with his car or he mis -shifted because when I was in 4th gear he was nowhere.
You look at some FC owners and they look at you like "whaaaaaaat". I saw one white FC and it looked like it was in real good shape. We waived as we passed.
Maybe he's on this forum.

What is with your obsession about painting that thing?

Get the bitch running THEN paint it. Ever since you blew the motor 3 years ago? You haven't done anything to it except paint it , put a body kit on it and paint it again

Anyway, HALLELUYAH for getting rid of the STUPID

He's from North Shore. Bought a LOT of stuff from Sonics.
If the the TII is rebuilt, I wonder who did it? Last I heard he blew his motor.

Matter of fact I deciding on the exact date to ship my 2 FCs down. May have a hook up for $500 a piece. Ones a 90 TII and the others an 86 na, on a rebuild.
No rotary mechanics there huh? Maybe I can hook up with mazda down there. On my way to being ASE cert. and rebuilt my na. I guess turbo tuning is a little more delicate and I dont have a lot of exp. Gotta learn sooneer of later. Not too much into turbo mods anyways. Maybe Ill catch some of you rx7 guys on the streets.

After you get your ASE cert. maybe you could fix all the broken rotarys here. There sure aren't any around that's for sure. Don't ever take it to a dealer. They'll ream you a new *******.
Who's the guy with the dark blue GTX convert I saw today? Maybe he's on the forum? Lately , I've been seeing a lot more FCs on the road. At least they're cool enough to say "what's up".

Maeda

I know the guy that owns that car..... his name is Andy. Anyways the car has like 150,000+miles, but the motor and turbo were rebuilt 30,000miles ago from the dealer on the mainland. The paintjob isn't all that BUT, it's still a TII. Anyways you should call him up and get it, cuz its got a lot of goodies on it too. I think he clocked low 15's in it though. YOu could probably do better. I'd get it if I had 7g's.

Have fun

The other day I saw what looks to be a 10th Anniv. with California plates. The car was in real good shape.
Does it belong to anyone here?

What's royal sumitt? "Who the ****!" I'm the ****!

anyway, hello... nice to meet you.
"2nd gens ptsh... what's a 2nd gen?"

j/k lol We 3rd gen people don't have anything against 2nd gens. why the hate? it's all good. whenever i see an rx-7 i whip out my little "rx-7 forum flyer" and slip one under the windshield wiper.

perhaps you guys should come out to some of the gatherings. kapolei wendy's every month. 1st saturday 6:00 pm to 10ish. classic cars gathering... we folk from EFI Unlimited like to show the older generation what technology has been brewing. hehe. just mind some basic rules like not to act dumb. burnouts/parking lot racing is a no-no. the august meet will have police though.. they won't be giving out any tickets or recon crap, but just watching that no one does anything stupid.

it's like a free car show!

Nah, you don't need to be rich to drive a 3rd Gen.
They're pretty cheap now.
I *ALMOST* picked up a 3rd Gen since I got bored with my current car. The quality of the interior is pretty bad. A friend of a friend was selling a '93 and I was not impressed. It's not solid like the 2nd Gens. So, yes, I still have the FC.
By the way, Royal Sumitt is upper Pearl City if you drive on down this way.

OK, which one of you crazy f*cks raced a Porsche 930?
I was stuck in traffic and a guy asked what these cars run. He said he raced an FC from Pearl City to Nimitz and he couldn't pull away. This was some time ago though. I didn't ask what color it was. He was impressed.

A 930 is pretty rare - more rare than an FC...
I've only seen Hondas and crap so far...
