How loud will this be?

A Racing beat Downpipe (turbo) presilencer Combo, and a Single Apexi N1 exhuast....

A Racing beat Downpipe (turbo) presilencer Combo, and an Apexi N1 Dual system...

A Racing beat Downpipe (turbo) presilencer Combo, and RB catback..

I am trying to choose but everyone I talk to says that the Single setup will be totally louder than a dual setup with minimal power loss? is it worth the $160 difference in price between the single and dual systems?

ive heard both N1 single and dual but never through a presilenced downpipe before, only open d/p. i can tell you the N1 single i heard isloud but not unbearable(to me, but i like loud). the dual N1 setup doesnt have any more volume but the pitch is deeper, less raspy. the dual sounds better in my opinion. the only racing beat exhaust ive heard was on an N/A so i can only tell you it was loud as hell. but thats on an N/A.

Not loud enough Motherfacko! (Anyone see ICP's Big Money Hustlas?)

Buddy, I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep it under 3000 RPM and less than half throttle when cops are around. Actually, do that anyway. I really don't want to see you wreck your car, so you need to drive it slow until you know how to handle that much power. When will it be ready to go?

Here's a link to 87GTR's car idling with N1 Duals. Sounds pretty cool to me:

i've got RP downpipe, midpipe and N1 on my T2...its not that loud.

about 2 years ago i ordered the Bonez superflow cat and N1 catback and put them on my n/a. my first impression was "WOW, this is LOUD!" i also got the silencer and used it on my trips from NJ to VA. buuuuuut, after like a month i got used to the sound and by that time i just thought that was the natural tone of the car again.

also, go with the N1 single...cheaper, lighter, and IMHO it flows better. no turbulance in the y-pipe area that is created when you have duals.

so whatever one you choose, you'll get used to it fast...and then be like "dayum! i need to make this bitch louder!"

Ok some stupid questions? But first I will answer some. The N1 single is going to be louder and lighter with much more flow. Next comes the Dual and than the RB. Ok I took a look at that MPG NathanRX7 and do rotary's really smoke that much more than a conventional engine? His is smoking just like mine and I was wondering if this was normal or am I paranoid about the O-rings?
