How to know 02 sensor is good or bad?

I think my Oxygen Sensor is going bad. Just that lately, on my Autometer A/F Ratio Gauge, its been on the lower end of the AMBER range (STOICH) and kinda touches RED/AMBER sometimes. It use to be in the GREEN/AMBER range before. But just wondering, how to test that 02 sensor thing to make sure it working properly?

never hurts to replace it
theres not really a way to look at it and tell if its bad (unless its really bad)
you can measure its outputs but that probably wont really help either in

It sounds more like a ground problem, which is common.&nbsp What the O2 sensor really does when it starts to fail is that it start to react slower and slow - if you can notice that the AFR is reading a bit slower, you've got btter eyes than I do. I just wait to see if my gas mileage starts to deteriorate...
