How I changed My Manual Transmission Fluid
I took a look at my Transmission and said How the hell am I going to Fill that with a Bottle? So I thought about it and came up with this idea....... First I took off the filler plug and then the Drain plug and drained out the old. It was old for sure and I thought it was cool how the drain plug had a magnet on it. Anyway I came up with this contraption.
First I cut a hole in the top of one of the Oil Cap and Put a old compressor hose in the hole.
Cut it about 2 1/2 ft. and drilled a small hole in the top side of the oil and put my air blower Thing in the hole.
Turn down the psi and put the bottle together
Presto! It worked
Now just put the drain plug back in and put the hose into the fill plug and go to town Make sure not to overfill.

I've done it three different ways:
1) Basting syringe. Pour fluidin a tub, suck it up, squirt inside. Works OK, but takes a long time and you will get dirty.
2). Fish tank lines + funnel. Get some cheap $5 lines from Wal-mart (the one that has a line running to a small plastic tube. Looks like a pick up tube or something) and attach it to the funnel. Run up under the car and into the tranny. Takes about 20 mins since the oil is so thick.
3) Oil gun or pump. Works the best and is only about $8. Took me all of 2 mins to fill up. I got one made by valvoline.

I like the oil pump method...even with the oil pump you have to be careful since some will spit out the hose from the pump, not fun.
Also, Aaron +9879872 your site is still up...some old school rotary info ones are gone.
