How good Is REDLINE OIL For Transmissions

Looking for soming that could possibley solve my shifting problems. My second gear is the hardest gear to get into. Its like I have to wait a couple of seconds for it to let me in other wise it will grind ,and I hate that sound more than anything. Any info on the tranmission would be great. And that redlineoil Only people that have it.

The best. Best thing I ever did for my tranny. You can also usr Royal Purple 80W to 90W. Only use MT-90 if you use Redline, NOTHING else (MTL is not viscous enough). Welcome to the forum!!!! What year/model you got?

I also just got some RL MT-90 and aslo have been putting it off.

I was wondering about the change of the fluid and how many quarts will the manual tranny take on a 89 T2?

Do i have to chnage the gasket/seal on the main drain plug when i change the oild and if i do where do i get it from?

Mine was the exact same way. After I put the redline in it, it works perfect. I have drag raced it a few times since and it never grinds.

Just drain the old and pump in some new. You don't need to change any gaskets or anything. (Unless it leaks)

Yes, you are supposed to change the gasket, which you can get from Mazda. Personally, I like the Fumoto oil drain plug (plain F106) because I can drain as much or as little as I want, I don't have to fish the plug out of the oil, I don't burn my hands or get them soaked with oil, I don't bash my knuckles when the wrench slips, I don't need to worry about stripping the bolt, and I never have to deal with that stupid gasket again (the Fumoto valve comes with a gasket).
