how to FIX wheel hop?
i went to the track and ran a 13.8 on 12 lbs and only had a 2.0 60ft on my 245/50 drag radials... i heated the tires up on my only clean run but after i heated them up the guy made me sit there for 2-3 minutes while he cleaned off the other side of the track... anyways, why i launched, my car wheelhopped. i have stock NA suspension btw
how can i CURE this? i need a 1.8 60ft

Im assuming you have stock rear springs/struts? If so thats probably the problem. With the age of these cars, the stock struts dampening abilities are pretty much gone, and the springs will be sagging slightly and not really doing their job properly either. I noticed a huge improvement in handling with my aftermarket suspension, and it also cured my wheelhop.

I had this same question in the other engine conversions and someone pointed out that IRS isn't too good for drag racing because of the wheel hop problems.
But instead of changing rear ends, does anyone make a "drag raceing" suspension kit for these cars? Something to make the front jump up and the rear squat type thing?

50/50 drag shocks out back (dunno if they are made for an FC) and polyurethane bushings help alot. If your really serious there is a company that makes strut housings for Koni cartriges (i cant find the link) I'm shure Koni makes a 90/10 cartrige, as they make very popular coil overs for drag use. Combine that with the right spring rates and the weight will shift pretty well. The stock springs are a little stiff for the proper weight shiftage. Kinda the long way around it to cure wheel hop, but one way nonetheless. Start with poly rear control arm bushings, the kit is only like 15 bucks, and see what it does. If it still does it, softer springs/shocks out back is about the only option, unless you add more weight to the rear (lead blocks) to keep the tires from spinning.
just some random thoughts, good luck.

I just spent 2k upgrading my vert/t2 suspension which was long over due but I got the hyper flex system for $96 bucks from suspension.com
which is the best price I found by far. I will be putting this stuff on in a few weeks. I will let you guys know what I feel the difference is
