How to eliminate OMP error code on series 5?
I removed my OMP, and I'm curious if anyone knows how to hot wire the lines to trick the ECU into thinking it is working properaly? I still have all of the wires hanging out, so all I need to know is which colored wires to connect to which colored wires. Will I need to add any resistors?

I agree completely with rx7_ragtop. I tried that too, but to no avail. The circuit would have to be too complex for it to work right. Its not just a matter or wiring in some resistors.
Heres what I did. I pulled my OMP off, gutted it(took all of the gears and such out), blocked off the 4 outlets with solid bolts, and then put it back on, like it was. No codes for a year, runs great. I havent had any problems with it. But for this to work, the motor and sensor have to be working properly.

My OMP is in proper working order, I just removed it to run premix. I understand that it may be a complex circuit; but it is still only like 12 wires. Seeing that there is only 2 codes from the OMP to the ECU, I would belive that there is probably only a few of those wires being used to monitor the OMP. I just need to figure out which ones; and what current they need to see.

This is not easy. You would need to build a circuit to emulate the metering oil pump. This is not just jumping a few wires. Best be is to design around a microcontroller such as the Motorola 68xxx series, or perhaps the BasicSTAMP from Parallax. You would then need a digital to analog converter to supply the proper voltages (National Semiconductor makes a bunch of cheap DACs). A simple Op-amp (probably the LM741) will provide a buffer, and a power transistor such as the TIP41 will actually put the proper load on the wires from the ECU. All in all, you're looking at a few hundred hours development time. Of course, if you don't know anything about electronics, you will have to pay someone else to do it.
In short, the way to eliminate the error codes is to replace either the ECU with a standalone, or put the metering oil pump back on.

yah, ive been trying to get something like to work. What i have done is basically take a working OMP plugged into the harness wrapped in a towel over by the charcoal canister. I tried driving it around with the OMP disconnected, sometimes i can get a few miles, other times id get about 2 blocks and it would throw the ECU into limp home mode. When that happens, its not fun!!!
