how do you remove the tie rods...

How do you remove the tie rods from the steering rack? i have the tie rod ends and everythig esle off.. i have drilled the old safety pins out of the top. i cant get the 24mm wrench to break them loose.... this isnt as hard as all these people say it was.. i need them off so can put my spacers behind them.

you mean the wrench wont fit, or you dont have enough leverage underneath your car to loosen them? if the wrench is on them, then use your foot and youl get more power than your hand, if the wrench dosent fit, then your going to have to grind the whench thinner ( just did this mod putting on spacers a week ago.)

are you turning them in the right direction? if you are and they still arent coming off id put a little heat to em and llosen em up, it might melt all the grease out of the tie rods and ruin them, but atleast you wont have to buy a new rack...
