How do i increase boost?

I did a search and didnt come up with anything. I want to eventually turn up the boost on my TII after i get my Rtek in and my exhaust on and turbo with ported wastegate and of course a wideband and possibly a SAFC. Is that what i would get a boost controller for? Im a little new to the whole turbo thing but i have a good idea of the basics like care and maintenance.

I used a Hallman remote MBC, will go as high as you want, especially after you have all the mods done. Some prefer electronic.

Well technically the size of the turbo and the amount of backpressure and flow through your engine is really what controls how much boost you can run, and then you modulate the wastegate to keep it where you want it. A boost controller will do that, so you should probably get one, but if you are getting a very unrestrictive exhaust the boost controller will be more for trying to keep the boost down then increasing it. Since the wastegate eventually won't be big enough to keep the boost where it should be even with the help of the controller, probably not with just an exhaust but I know on mine I have trouble, but I also have a bridgeport.

I'm not sure exactly what your setup is going to be but I'm pretty sure the consensus for the most part is to keep the boost under 10psi on a stock turbo with stock injectors. That is what I try to do but I have no cats or mufflers so even with the boost controller I can't go WOT in 4th and 5th because it creeps up to 12 or 13psi sometimes if I do. I think I should probably port my wastegate if I get a chance but it might not be worth it because I'm not planning on keeping the stock turbo for too long.

I am aiming for around 10psi. It will be a stock initially but eventually want to go BNR hybrid. I figured on a 3 inch turbo back exhaust(most likely Corksport complete kit). Then a true CAI with a box. As far as the rest of the mods they are in my sig.

If you go with a manual boost controller, make sure it's a ball-and-spring type. The other kind is a bleed-type, which will still allow the wastegate to partially open before your set point. The ball-and-spring type keeps the wastgate closed completely, then only allows it to open when you reach your desired boost level. The benefit is that the turbo will spool faster, and you'll reach peak boost sooner in the RPM range. I made my own, but most of the non-ebay controllers will use the ball-and-spring valve. The electronic controllers will function similarly, but allow for presets, etc...

Rtek 1.7, 550/720cc injectors & a better fuel pump is typically fine running up 12psi max, but you should keep a close eye on the AFRs as you ramp up to that level. Ideally, you want to see about 11.5 AFR under full boost.

I got a perrin Manaul boost controller.
I got mines up to 12 psi by around 3k rpm, and it holds till around 6k where it tapers off to 10psi. Granted its a stock turbo with stock intercooler. Stock ported wastegate, I rarely boost creep above 12 psi but porting it is just preventive maintence so to speak.

I dont know if its alright but on stock 550cc injector the stock turbo at around 10 psi is pushing it isnt it?? You should try getting atleast 720 secondaries or just 720 all around if you are planning a BNR.
One thing that you must get is a wideband, without it you wont know how the engine is running.
