Search for "Speed Bleeders"

You can buy them at Autozone or Advance now.

They allow you to bleed the brakes by yourself.

If you're going to do it Spooledup's way, don't have so many brews that you forget to keep the master cylinder full

I bought a vacuum pump and it is awesome for bleeding bracks when you don't have a buddy to pump and hold the pedal. If you do, then use the bud.

Gravity bleeding has about one positive aspect to it: its easy. Its not fast, and it leaves residual air bubbles which are known to absorb line pressure upon compression. You can see this with a brake pressure gauge installed in the system. Been there, done that.

For better results, pressure bleeding is thew way to go. I use 15 psi, passed through a refridgerated dryer and a dessicant dryer, followed by a 10 micron filter on the master cylinder. By far the best pedal feel you can attain, and also the fastest way to bleed brakes. Its also a one man operation. Best line pressure available with this method... so the lest remaining air bubbles.

Speed bleeders are your next best bet. They're just a check valve that does not allow air to re-enter the brake system when you pump the brakes. They work... pretty good.

Second to last is the two-man method. Pump the brakes... hold, release the bleed screw, retighten, and then repeat. Usually has to be done a couple times to allow bubbles to collect, and then be forced out.

As far as quality... gravity bleeding is last.

Having someone pump the brakes has always worked well for me. making sure the master stays filled... i use a 20oz coke bottle to catch the oil... when i see the clean stuff start to come thru... cap it off... always rememberting to keep the master filled.

the best way to gravity bleed if u have a turbo on the end of the bleeder u can wait for all the fluid to completly fill the tube and drain out.. may take some time but it works great. then have somone get it and push the pedal down slowly BEFORE they hit the bottom close the bleeder and that wheel is done go to the next gravity bleed till the hose is full and drainig depress peadal slowly before u hit the bottom close the bleeder

every time i have to blead i change the fluid, i take 4 snapple bottles and put about an inch of fluid in , 4 vacume lines one each bleader down into the fliud so no air backes into the system, crack them all open this way and dont forget to keep the master cylinder full. start off opening the farthes to nearest and close them nearest to farthest, your done when you can see that the clean fluid is about an inch thick in the bottle..

u mite have to jack the car up for this....
