What Subscription?
Once again: JSPECs are JAP JUNKYARD ENGINES! You have a CHANCE of getting one with decent compression that runs good. Lets examine the math. Most of the mporters will quote you abot 30,000 miles on one. These engines are at BEST 10 years old. Are you NIAVE enough to believe the car was diven only 3000 miles/year?
What do you people believe?, that there is a wharehouse full of PRISTINE LOW MILAGE engines just waiting to be shipped over here? The truth more is more likely to be that the engines coming over here are ragged out hulks that someone did't want in Japan!
If you need a core motor to build or want to update and build a new motor, THEN JSPECS are great {IF YOU CAN FIND ONE}.
If you think you are going to take one off the Pallet and bolt it in your car and have a perfectly running engine I think you are in for a RUDE AWAKING!!!. Some people have, but MOST have not. Many people have gone thru multiple JSPECS trying to find good one.

If your looking for a Jspec PM Guru. He can get them for you at a good price and ships anywhere.
And to check the compression on a motor if it is not hooked up to anything, you put the spark plugs in, turn the main pully (19mm socket) and listen to the sound the exhaust makes. It will make 3 loud pops, like air being sucked in or pushed out or something... turn the engine completely like 5 or 6 times to make sure everything is happy and if you hear those 3 pops every time, then your good to go
