how 2 test water pump/ t stat
overheating, thought it was radiator, took it out holds water. when it was in all the water would leak out couldn't tell from where tho. the hoses seem fine but am going to replace them anyways. is there a way to check the pump since the radiators already out? milked it home with 4 gallons of water n everytime it was low there'd be a loud intermediate bangin noise, bout two second pause, from the top hose, would that be from the water boilin or the pump workin.

well just replaced my water pump. the one wat to figure out is that there is a small hole under the bottom of the pump and it will leak out water. its called the weeping hole i think. but that will leak. and also the fan will be off its axis while it spins if its bad. but concidering your car is like 20 years old or so theres a chance that its old and wore out.

It's possible for the seal to degrade and the bearing begin to fail without the fan acting wonky.
A wobbly fan is a surefire indication that something ain't right but the reverse isn't always true.
Also, cavitation and corrosion can damage the impeller to the point that the pump is moving but a fraction of it's rated capacity...all without fluid escaping the weephole or the fan going wobbly.

I can't read what you are saying...so I have no help. I just went through all of this with my 7 but not being able to understand what it is you have typed doesn't allow me to answer your question.
