well back on subject

at 2.4K miles you should be back up to full compression, so I would double check that the injectors were cleaned properlly or are not worn out.

Lets face it... if there is too much fuel being dumped in only when starting warm, then the injectors are dirty or need replacing (despite the claim that they were cleaned),

this thread is full of old people....

crap, i guess i'm not far behind!

back to the subject: old injectors can be cleaned and balanced but unless the testing facility knows exactly how much the injectors should flow they could be perfectly blanaced but flow beyond their rated specifications. my injectors have 170K on them, i have hot start problems and i am contemplating whether or not to send them out for cleaning or to just try and find a lower mileage pair and have them cleaned.

I watched the guy test some injectors at witchhunter's testing facility and it was pretty interesting... All of my injectors flowed around 545cc's+. Only one was exactly 500cc.

I totally trust the owner/operator of that business. The injectors are more than likely OK.

You can disable the fuel pump by disconnecting the proper wire. It's funny that I can feel this wire and disconnect it without looking, but I'll be damned if I can tell you what it looks like!

the connector for the fuel pump relay resides to the right of the steering column, under the dash. Its yellow in color. You just disconnect it, and crank the motor. Once it fires, plug it back in! Shoot, I got this info from THIS FORUM like years ago!

And if I had a hot sister, this is the LAST place I would post pictures of her..
