Question high compression rotors effect

what effect will high compression s5 rotors have on a s5 tii engine?

ok another question: what will be the difference if i swap my s4 rotors with s5 rotors? any benefit?

you wont be able to boost as high... but in the usuable range you would be supposed to get greater thermal effiency... but that is just in theory.

In an NA application, you will get a slightly higher compression ratio and end up with lighter rotors. You will also need to change the counterweight and flywheel to match.

they work great if you have the stand alone to properly tune the car with that much compression

i love it!

The general point is that if you have to ask, it's not a good idea.

My personal opinion is that the S5 NA rotors are too high in compression to be reliable with the skills of the average tuner. S4 NA rotors will take a good beating.

thank you aaron!! my roommate wants to PP my motor and he is really good with tuning and i just thought that s5 rotors would help a little!
