1500.00 is kinda high for this setup. You can buy engines from FC3S for $1000.00 shipped.

That doesn't look JDM to me, check N340 and see if it's ASpec, I think it is...

hmm... either 88 TII Cali, or Jspec, nm!

KnightSport lists the n340 as an 88-91 TII .. Any clues guys?

You don't need a tranny computer for a manual. A turbo ECU and wiring ususally run around 100.00 in the FS forums. Either way you will still need a MAF, and Pressure sensor. Someone was saying here you can use the N/A Wiring if you rewire two or three pins on the ECU.

He didn't say he needed a tranny comp, but the tranny harness. Hes partially correct, hes going to have to rewire the stock harness for it to work, but thats about 30 times easier than trying to rape in a harness that doesn't belong.

ok i have a n/a car and was looking to do a j-spec turbo swap. i know i need a maf and a ps. but my Q was does this engine look like a good deal not all the other **** i need all i need know if a harness ecu engine and tranni that auction has every thing i need to finish this project
and i know for sure that im not raping and harness together if it cost me mabye 100 more then ill go for it rather than spending a day niging some thing together that wont ever be as well at the right one
with that said .....

Two unknowns:
1) compression numbers
2) turbo shaft play

Note the double alternator pulley, but with the air pump still mounted. Confusing, but no biggie.
I see the AFM on the bottom of the air box.
The downpipe has no pre-cat - cool.
It looks pretty complete - more than most.
All used engines are a gamble.
I see no "red flags".

Dude, just get this and call it a day.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=335097

with that you will get all the parts you need plus some. Not only that but you can get some of your cash back to compensate.
