Hesitation at 5,000 RPM in fourth...

Today, I did some modifications to my 6PI actuators, since they didn't work. I've since got the to work, and have a line running from my the air pump hose to the actuator nipple tester dealy-bobber... Anyway, I took it upon myself to see exactly how well getting these ports functioning again affected my performance (I also found that only one is opening due to a bad gasket on my part, but the other still worked). So as I am driving, everything is looking good, took it to the buzzer in first, second and third, then in fourth, when I hit 5,000 RPM, it suddenly didn't accelerate so much. I thought maybe it was because I was on a hill, so I tried again on a flat, same thing. I tested this out three times on the flats, and the same thing happened everytime.

Any clue as to what it could be?
