Hesitating - blocked cat, just a p.o.s. or...? Have video...
Runs pretty decent in 1st after 3k rpm.
1986 Auto - No Mods except cone filter.
I know the gas is low; was @ 1/2 tank when it started.
Have the 5 speed parts, waiting on flywheel...already know it is mad at me
Will stall out at WOT from a stand still.
i'd skip forward to 45 seconds or so unless you like listening to the blinker.

If it doesn't load it is here also:

I wan't trying to be rude, just letting you know that the audio wasn't at a helpful level.
Right now I'm at work (youtube blocked), so I'll watch when I get home.
Hopefully someone else can chime in, in the meantime.

It's hard to get anything from the vids. Did this happen suddenly or was it a result of your activities in your other thread?
From the vids it appears your idle is perfect. Is that correct?
I see you joined the forums only two months ago. Have you done all the basics?
Its unlikely the hot air intake is causing these problems.
For your vids it would be better to have someone hold the camera at your right ear pointing straight out so the dash is in view as well as the road ahead. Then with the windows open on a straight empty road just floor it and go. It seems like you're putzing around a neighborhood.

- Check for codes
- Compression check
- TPS setting
- Followed Aaron Cake's tech note for refreshing the grounds
- Timing test
- New fuel filter
- New plugs and wires

It might be a sensible thing to post your previous thread which provides the "info" related to your problem instead of forcing others to start from scratch.

Do you have your trailing coils going to the correct rotors?
When I bought my car (S4 N/A 5-speed), it exuded almost the exact same symptoms. He insisted it was apex seals. I flipped the trailing coil wires and it ran GREAT for two years before coolant leaks brought it to its demise. Upon tear-down, the apex seals were fine.
Cliffs Notes:
Check your trailing coils are connected to the correct plugs.

I take it that was your problem?
LOL!
As soon as I listened to the first of those 4 videos in your last post, I thought to myself, "That sound's like mine did when the trailing coils were backwards..." The other 3 just supported that theory. The audio made a world of difference.

I hadn't touched since replacing the plugs a little while back, while it was running. I took to my dad's house to change the alternator...think he and/or his 'mechanic' (used liberally) where doinking with it.
