Too bad 265/40/17 is a pretty hard-to-find size.
Tire Rack only lists 7 options for that size.

Any rubbing issues with the front tires? Seems like an awfully low offset. I have 17x8 + 32s up front, and they seem damn close. But cool if it fits

225's are really right up front.
There is always a chance you might need to roll the fender.
This way, you run less offset and clear the inside suspensions parts.

True, I was just thinking of the fender clearance. I have 235/40r17s up front on my 17x8 + 32 wheels, and the fender clearance is minimal. I would think the extra 7mm of ofset would push it over the edge, but I guess the smaller 225 tire would make up for it.

boise, im rx7maniac on the local board.

as for the front tires with rubbing, there is no rubbing at all. i would like a higher offset though. the +25 puts them about a hair past the fender line. its not noticeable at all until you get close.

oh yeah, ddretard, i'm not alex, im ryan
