Here she is :-) (from $5.00 alt pulley thread) PICS!
Ok, here she is. Pulley went on just fine. Some people were worried about the metal, It looks like it is coated (get rainbow colors when you look at it). I am not a metal expert, but it is the same metal coating that Racing Beat uses on the ACV and EGR blockoff plates. So it must stand up to anything :-) I hope all of you planning to remove your air pump ordered this $5.00 pulley.

Sorry, don't know the background on this "$5 pully".....
Is this one special in some way, ie: performance upgrade? Or is it just cheap alternate choice to the overpriced Mazda oem part?
Thanks

Long story short, just get the stock-sized alternator belt - in this case, you'll want two
I tried to use my stock belt originally, but it didn't fit - a tad too big. So I went to the auto parts store about 4 different times trying to get slightly smaller belt.. Nothing worked.
Mazdatrix said use the stock belt. "But mine was too long, so how is that possible?" I was thinking...
Of course, it turns out my stock belt had gotten stretched out and just wasn't usable anymore.
So to recap, go get two stock-sized alternator belts, and call it a day. FYI, I am using the WAI pulley in conjunction with the stock water pump pulley and RB's lightweight crank pulley.
I highly reccomend the Goodyear Gatorback belts - everything else looks like crap in comparison.
