Helpppppppppppppppppppppp
I need major help people.
I have a 88 rx7. I love this car. Anyway, I was working on it last week thursday. I was moving a capacitor for my car stereo around when I accedintly allowed the positive wire of the cap to touch the negative terminal on the battery.
I thought nothing of it. I then tried to start it. No luck. I am getting gas and the engine is turning over, but i am getting no spark.
I took it to a mechanic. They told me I fried the computer and showed me the board. It had a black spot on it. Regardless i bought another one. I also bought extra ignition coil and a starter because mine was going out anyway. They have had it for close to 3 days now and they can not figure out why the coils are not reciving any power. They checked the computer and it is giving no bad codes. All the fuses under the hood as well as under thedash are all good.
Do you have any ideas what could be wrong?
