help with transplant pls

So I put a 89 NA engine (stock harness, computer, sensors, coils...) in my 83 and am having trouble working out a few kinks:

1. I am getting error codes 12 and 18 for the full and narrow range tps. I have tested them with an analog ohmeter and they seem fine, no glitches when swept through their range, what next? I believe this has to have something to do with my idle which hunts from 500 to 850 RPM.

2. When I first startup, it idles low around 1200 rpm, after about 10 to 20 seconds, the fast idle kicks in and puts it up around 2000. Is this normal? Why doesn't it jump up right away?

3. There is this hole in the back of the ACV pointing towards the firewall which had a black plastic thing in it when I first got it, which has since fallen out somewhere, so now I get a loud blowing air sound on acceleration up to a certain point. What is supposed to be in there, is it supposed to be plugged?

4. I have tested the fuel pressure, it is 34 PSI at idle and 40 at WOT all the way to 8000, the idle value seems to check out with the FSM but what about the WOT value. I am using an 84-85 GSL-SE external fuel pump. Is 40 PSI okay?

5. Is it possible to install the lower intake manifold without the 5th/6th port bars fitting into the actuator forks, or would it just not go on. I am not finding the top end power I had expected from the S5. I checked the operation of both VDI and 5th/6th solenoids and diaphragms are they worked great.

6. Also I am not noticing any difference in idle when I unplug the BAC connector, what does this suggest? anything

Couple more tidbits, my vacuum at idle is around 18 in-Hg. I've monitored the 02 readings, and I get about 0.85V @ WOT and @ cruise/idle it cycles back and forth between 0.7 and 0.4V roughly.

Sorry for the all the questions, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

for #1, #2 and #6 = TPS is out of adjustment

#3 is the air feed for the cat converter

Not sure what you are asking in #5

thanks for the reply, for # 5, I mean, if I know the actuators are working, is it possible they aren't rotating the actual valve in the port because the linkage between the port sleeves and the actuator wasn't made correctly when I installed the lower intake manifold. Or will the LIM not bolt up to the engine if that linkage isn't made. Clear as mud.
