Help: sudden lost of power

Before:
I had pulled the intercooler and was cleaning the TPS terminals and put some Di-electrical grease on the connection due to some tps issues that I was hoping to fix. I put it back together and started the car .. it didn't idle overly happy still but none the less settled to 800 where it usually idles.

then:
I took it for a little spin.. got on it hard in 1st - 2nd. felt fine and was just crusing along at 45 for another mile when wham the car just felt like it had severe load. I downshifted into 4th and it was kinda chuggn along if I depressed the clutch the car would die. it would restart if i released the clutch though just severly under powered.

present:
pulled off and shut the car down. I opened the hood and nothing seemed wrong I checked to see if I had blown a pipe off and just had severe leak but all looked good. I tried to crank it.. if i did a fuel cut for a while.. then pumped the gas and all I would get was a 'pop' from the exhaust nothing else. This only happened a couple of times. I'm now waiting to tow the car home and put it in the garage.

unfortunately, i'm guessing i cracked an apex seal and motor is toast... please tell me different.. I'll know more when I get the car in my garage to do a compression test.

compression test results are in

front rotor: the needles suppose to move right

rear rotor: 3 good spikes to 60 in repitition so no dead spot i'm guessing that's good.

woo chalk me up on my first rotor.. now to rebuild... or buy a j-spec and call it good for now.

I can set you up with an engine if you are on a budget but want a better alternative to a $2000+ rebuild or used/jspec engine...prices start at $1000. www.rotaryresurrection.com Let me know if I can help you.
