help! safc problems

hey guys,
I have a safc problem, the apexi model with the 4 bttons and the blue screen. I installed it, set setting to flap sensor type and 4cyl with arrow p and to the right. I started it up and it stalled out promptly after about 2 seconds. I checked the wiring and everything looked fine. I am not getting a throttle reading, except in the sensor checks which give me .100 volts I think. I disconnected the maf from the safc and it runs ok now. But leaves me with nothing more than an expensive (and from the looks of things slightly inacurate) tachometer. Any theories guys? I did get it off ebay from a reputable seller but it could just be a dud. any help would be appreciated.
Nick
PS there is only about 150 kilometers on the engine, just rebuilt and ported if that matters.

It sounds like the S-AFC is either dead or set to odd values (easily done if it is a used unit). Set all the corrections to zero. If that doesn't do it, and you have no voltage output from the AFM output on the S-AFC, then she's most likely toast.
