The variable resistor adjusts idle mixture. Have to jump the initial set coupler to tune it. Tried that also. But I did not change it to a turbo one. What would be the difference?

As far as the injectors I understand the cycle. I just misunderstood you before thinking you meant the pigtail plugs function different, but its all clear now. I will still check the routing on it though.

As far as the cas you line the timing marks and stab it in, did it according to the haynes and fsm

Variable resistor are the same b/t non turbo and turbo.

Try something new BUMPSTART suggested. Align the timing marks. Leave the CAS in the engine. Now look at the flat black top of the CAS. See that small *bump* on the top of the CAS???? Say yew. Well remove that small bump which is removable. Take the top cover off the CAS if required but remove that small access bump/panel. Reinstall the CAS top cover.

Look thru the hole where the access cover was. You should be able to see on of the top two GEARS of the rotating part of the CAS. IF you do then the CAS is plugged in right. Make sense? IF not, right back.
