Help With: Removing Factory OEM Fog Lights..

Im trying to remove the OEM Fog lights from my buddys S5 GXL FC. Just wanted to know if possible, step by step route to removing these lights without breaking or ruining anything. It's my first time.

The objective is to swap them over including the necessary wiring, onto my S5 GTU which did not come with Fog Lights. Any help is appreciated.

1. Take the front bumper off of his car, you'll have to pull the wheel well cover back some and get to the bolts that hold the bumper. I forget how many there are, just feel for them and your golden.

2. Remove his bumper, and then look at the top of the fog lights, you should be able to see the 2 bolts that hold them on. Trace the wiring off the back of them and unclip the pig tails that connect them to the harness. Unbolt the fog lights and pull them out. You should take the plastic surrounds as well. It looks a lot better.

3. Pull the fog light relay off his car which is located towards the front, look in the haynes manual for exact location.

4. Remove his fog light fuse from the fuse box, remove his interior fog light switch.

5. Remove your front bumper, find the pig tails that connect to the fog lights... connect them and route them through the holes. Bolt up the fog lights and their surrounds.

6. Install the relay in your car, should be an empty place and harness for that I think. Install the fuse in the fusebox where it should go, pull off your cover where the security light is, and you'll find an unused pigtail... plug your switch into that.

7. Finish your car up, and then leave his for him to reassemble. lol.

Sorry if I left anything out... its been a while since I have done that. There was a really good right up around here somewhere. But I loved the look after I did that mod. lol. Looks so good imo. Let us know how it goes man.
