Hey i have posted on here before but i never got a response so im gonna try again. Well my problem has to do with my fuel guage and its components. I get a normal reading on it till about 3/4 of a tank, then it plummets to empty and never comes back. I was curious if it is my fuel sender unit that has gone bad or if its something else. I have taken the whole assembly out of my tank and i checked the gas level float and it didnt seem to have any holes or cracks. So any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

This has been covered before, next time you may wish to use the search function found in the upper right-hand corner of this page.
But to answer your question, the float in the fuel tank is either misaligned, or has a hole in it and no longer floats correctly.
Also remember that the float is normally bottom weighted on the RX-7 (meaning that it is not linear), and it is normal to have the first 1/2 a tank be used up, much faster than the 2nd half.
