Somthing really seems wrong. I don't know what to tell you as I can only give advice from my actual experiences. I have had no issues with oil pressure before. I wonder about a pick up tube issue or the pump itself. I've heard that these pumps never go out either. Oh, you are getting sloppy with your spelling, grammar and punctuation again. You might want to watch it.

seems like an oil pickup tube problem, the gasket probably slid sideways and is either causing an air leak or blocking the flow partially, the oil pump is working but you need to check the system further up which means the passage through the block down to the pick up tube mount and the gasket and pickup tube istelf, seems like there is a blockage or leaks in that system somewhere.

is the oil pan smashed in possibly as well? if the pan is smashed in it could be blocking the pickup tube also, some thigs to look for. seems like it is cavitating..

don't start the engine because that is not enough to supply your oiling system. in fact i would prime the system manually by pumping oil down through the oil filter pedestal into the engine to lubricate the bearings.

You've probably already done it, but pull the pump off with the gear still attached. Then rotate the gear while looking into the aft side of the oil pump. See if the internals are turning. Also look on the outside of the oil pump housing. There should be a very small screw that is staked in the side of the housing to hold the outside gear in the pump. If it fell out thngs won't work right.

If the pump looks good, and then I'd pull the pan and see if there is something irregular with the strainer/pickup. then look at the oil relief valve in the bottom of the front cover to see if its stuck open.

There are gap measurements in the oil section of the fsm for the internal gears of the oil pump. I really doubt that would be the problem the way that pump is pumpin.

Care to let everyone know what the problem was, in case this happens to someone else?

I once forgot to to reinstall the uperradiator hose when i was excited to see how well (or badly) the electric fan would do on a quick cruise. The add coolant light did come on about 3 miles from home btw...
