Help me identify this plug~!
So i have a 87 TII, previous owner had a haltec in it when he took everything out, he kinda did a hack job of it so im having to put everything back together.
This plug is located on the right side of the steering column its a 6 pin plug, Im assuming it has something to do with the EGI, would make the most sense to me, and im pretty sure this is the plug i used to yank out to keep the motor from getting fuel in the event someone tried to jack my car.
The current plug connected to the harness had 3 wires clipped right at the back of the plug so its unrepairable. So i bought this plug from a fellow member to replace it.
![](http://i542.photobucket.com/albums/gg420/meximan77/587161707_photobucket_40960_.jpg)
The colors from Top left to right side is.
brown/blue-Empty- and 2 black/brown(maybe yellow)
Bottom row
2 BLue/brown(yellow)-Black/white/Yellow stripes-Black and white
I started soldering some wires and finally got to this mess and am trying to figure out where all this crap goes. For instance I can locate 1 blue/brown(yellow) wire but not the pair.
I dont know if this plug came off another turbo II loom, It could be a NA plug. BUt i was told it would work from another member. Not sure if i need to cap one of these wires in the pairs off, Or if both need to be used.
IF anyone has pictures of this plug on their car that would help greatly.
I dont wanna do this wrong, throw a motor in the car, have it not start and Have a mess to find out what is wrong with it ect ect ect. And as you can see in the pictures i dont really have room for error on the plug, there not much length to work with.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Satch in that thread you posted There is a 6 pin plug, that looks VERY close to the one i have. However It doesnt have any pins that have 2 wires coming out of it. Any idea why? Do i need to use both?

Brown wire goes to fuel check connector and the AFM.
Blue wires go to the fuel pump.
Black/White wire next to Blue wires goes to 15 amp Engine fuse in the interior fuse box.
Black/White wire at the bottom right of your pic goes to the ECU, pin 3B.
Solid Black wires goes to a constant ground.

Why do you have two constant ground wires is beyond me. If one ground does its job then one is good enough.

Ok got some more pictures with some better light. This is a picture of the current harness. As you can see every pin has its own single wire and not two, like my replacement.

Found the matching Blue and red wire, and black and white wire. Im thinking that i can splice the TWO wires on the new plug and solder them to teh single matching wire and shouldnt have any problems. If theres a split later down the wire I wouldnt think that this would affect it.

No pretty much just asking IF It's safe to assume that i can connect the two blue/red wires to the single thats been cut. and same for the black/white. Seems like i have one extra wire of both.

First thing is are you certain that the cut Blue wire that you found goes to the fuel pump. If you are certain of this then there is no problem. With regards to the cut B/W wire you found, there are two of those at the plug so you need to make sure the one you found is connected to the proper B/W wire in the plug.

hmm checkted the top of the fuel pump assembly. 3 connections. One white/black that used to be spliced i already fixed that bad boy. One Blue. One red. Is this what you meant by it splitting? Im gonna go check the ecu, right now.

I made a bit of mistake as your car is an S4 turbo and in that case the Blue wire from the Circuit Opening relay goes to the Fuel pump relay and resistor before going to the fuel pump itself. In this case the Blue wire splits into two wires before it arrives at this relay. From the relay comes two Blue wires which eventually combine back to one after the wires connect to the connector that joins the front and rear harness. That is, on the rear side of the harness the two wires are reduced to one wire. (connector FR-02).

The pic with the Green wire looks like it's coming from the Cruise control unit but I can't tell without more info. There is the plug at the bottom of the unit and then a Green colored wire comes out of that plug and then appears to go to the red clip. Can you verify what the exact coolr of the wire coming out of the white plug at the bottom of the Cruise control unit is. Is it solid Green or Green with a stripe? I'll include a pic of the diagram but I assumed the wire was solid Green so give it a look over.

That makes more sense. On the left side of the red clip the G/R wire enters the red clip and on the right side of the red clip the G/R comes out of it along with another wire. Is this accurate? If it is then it looks like the G/R wire , which goes to the Speed sensor in the gauge cluster, was tapped into to run an aftermarket gauge. This is my guess and this might explain one of the Black wires as it probably was the ground for the aftermarket gauge.
