Help installing boost gauge

Hey guys, I just got an autometer boost gauge for my 88 turboII. It says to use a "T" fitting to connect the included nylon tubing into the vacuum hose. My question is can I just put it into the small hose (which appears to be the correct size) going to the pressure sensor located on the passenger side shock tower, or is this the hose they are talking about, or if not please explain to me how to find the correct vacuum hose.
Thak you for any help you can give me.
