OH Help with Injectors!! lots of confusion! GURU"S NEEDED!

OK first off. Guy needs new injectors. ask him what year his car is 88 turbo. ok need. 88 13b T high square offset 550cc purple 195500-1370 injectors. so i bought some rebuilt nice injectors http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=
The production date of the vehical is 09/87. I get the manifold off and the injectors are RED, and the notch on them is On the side Not in the middle???THIS IS WERE IM CONFUSED^^^^^. Here is all the information on all year injectors.
84-85 13B NT low square center 680cc orange 195500-0900
86-87 13B NT low square center 460cc red 195500-1350
86-87 13B T low square center 550cc tan 195500-1370
88 13B NT high square offset 460cc purple 195500-1350
88 13b T high square offset 550cc purple 195500-1370
89-91 13B NT high oval center 460cc red 195500-2010
89-91 13B T high oval center 550cc purple 195500-2020
Now were the hell do you see injectors for a 88 with the NOTCH on the side NOT in the middle and RED! The new injectors (ones i just purchased in the ebay ad)are purple and the notch is in the middle like a normal Turbo 88. WTF is up with this red injector Notch on the side turbo 88 all orignal 2nd owner.

First, the color scheme is not totally right. I have 3 sets of injectors that don't match up. Go only by part number and offset.

If he's got 1370s with offset tabs, they're high impedence. The injectors you bought are the same 1370s (550cc), but the centered tab means they're low impedence. Late '87 TIIs were transitioned over to high impedence injectors, so that's why you're seeing the discrepancy.

You can run those low impedence purple injectors in the car, but it will require wiring some 6-10 ohm, 10 watt resistors in-line.

ECU Pins & wire colors for the injectors (FSM page 50-22):

3C (LG/B)
3E (LG)
3F (LG/R)
3H (LG/W)

Cut each wire just before the ECU connector & wire in the resistors. There's also a labled picture of the ECU plug in FSM section 4B, on page 33.
