HELP fire under my hood
I have a 1988 na rx7 with only 57000 miles and it runs great but today i started it up and i had like a ******* foot high fire under my hood lucky i had it open but it was this wire right there and if i try to start it up it glows red hot now plzzz help

Seen it before. The little solenoid has failed. It unscrews from the ACV fairly easily. You should be able to buy them by the boatload in the classified forums since a lot of people rip off the ACV.

Start by pulling apart any wires fused by the fire. Then, use the fsm to trace the wiring. Test for shorts. Test all connected circuits for damaged components. When you are sure everything is repaired and functional, repair/replace the parts damaged by the fire. Don't start your car until you're sure things are functioning properly again. Tow it to a shop if you aren't confident/capable with wiring. Good luck!
