Help: Finding Resources for Upper Intake Manifold removal

Hi All,

I need to change my pulsation damper which requires removing of the upper intake manifold and dynamic chamber to have easier access.

While it's off I am probably going to do my grounding as well.

I cannot find the steps in the FSM to take off everything and the torquing specs.

I am currently looking at Fuel and Emissions Control - NA; Page 4A - 55.

Is there any easier way to go about taking off the above parts. I don't need to disassemble anything, just to gain access to the PD.

Let me know your approaches and tips/tricks.

Thanks

It's straightforward.

1) Remove the air box & intake tube
2) Remove the coolant lines and fuel lines from the secondary fuel rail
3) Unhook the OMP rod from the throttle body (S4 right?) & unplug TPS and BAC
4) Unplug vac lines and note where they go
5) Unbolt 5 bolts connecting UIM to LIM & loosen 3 bolts on driverside
6) Remove TB/Plenum/UIM as one piece.

This would also be a good time to replace that damn coolant hose.... or at the very least put a hose clamp on it that lets you remove it easier... Taking the upper half off is a good time to do a LOT of things.... lol

Went to order it from Canadian Tire and it is discontinued...

Do I need to know the torque specs, or which page should I use from the Technical Data chapter in the FSM
