Help diagnosing brake problem!

I've search, checked the FSM, tried to troubleshoot and I'm not sure where to go from here.

Over the winter I replaced the 4 flex lines with SS lines. I replaced the rear main brake line fromthe master to the splitter and the 2 rear lines to the flex lines. I also replaced the drivers side hard line from the master to the flex line. Bled brakes 3 times. All air bubbles seem to be gone, none were present on last bleed. Pedal felt firm

Problem: I turn on the car and then when I goto brake the pedal goes about 3/4 down before the brakes start functioning. This definitly isn't right compared to before. I know I shouldn't almost behitting the floo before my my brakes start to work.

I ONLY replaced the 4 hard lines mentioned above and the 4 flex lines. I also replaced all bleeders with speed bleeders. No leaks can be seen anywhere.

What could cause this to happen? Any help appreciated

Thanks guys.

if the car has been sitting its a good possibilty that the master cyl. has started to leak . just take the 2 nuts off the master that bolt to the booster and pull the master cylbck a lil bit and see if theres fluid leakin or if ya got some rust in there i will cause the pedal to fall, cause its not holding pressure.

i would check the master cylinder as well. also, check the fittings on the brakes as well, something might not be seated right.

I'll give that a go this week.

We did some tranny work, so I checked what we could have hit getting the tranny on and off and it looks like the vacuum line from the 3/8" hard line to the motor for the brake booster seemed pretty cracked on the bend. If that is leaking could that be a problem as well?

Check the brake booster according to the FSM. Simple test. If it only does that with the engine running, it would be the first thing to check.
