Yes, getting this thing on a dyno with a wideband might help diagnos this problem quicker and more accurately.
Should be running rich but maybe its not. Do you know for sure? There are a lot of varriables that can only be eliminated with proper tuning and a wideband.

Any way you look at it, the car needs to be treated gently until it is tuned.

I ended up slapping on a t04b hybrid instead and I have it tuned well now for 13psi......
No pingin nemore I think it was due to excessive intake temps.

P.S It made 296.5 RWHP

Kinda late response and you've probably already fixed it but:

I have a streetport with stock turbo, stock IC, stock injectors and stock ECU, with custom intake and 3" exhaust and also boosting 20psi, and i don't have detonation. I don't see why you're having such a problem with it. Just thought i'd add this to the thread.

I like you're green run a lot better. Mid 12 a/f numbers are pretty damn agressive.....I'd shoot for mid 11's. Maybe you should go with some 850 secondarys or 4 x 720. I'm impressed with the numbers beyond that though. You are maxing out the 720's by 290 rwhp.

I have few questions, and you guys seem like you could answer them.

What exactly is this pinging noise? What causes the engine to make this noise? And is it a distinct ping noise or is it a ticking noise?
