Alright here's the deal. I'm new to this rotary business but I can read Therefore I learned a Little. I jus got a red 1987 Turbo II shell and I bought a motor and gearbox from my friend. Ok now the problem is I finished putting in the motor and gearbox, got a new clutch, walbro 255 fuel pump, new starter. BUT CAR WONT START ON IT'S OWN. The fuel pump is sending fuel because I pulled the feed line off the motor and mad my friend crank the car and alot of fuel came out. My car has new coil packs, new plugs, new wires. Car is getting spark but will just crank and not turnover. The other day I just Tried Something, I sprayed a little starter fluid and the car started but shut off after 3-4 seconds. I think it could be a fuel problem but like I said I'm new to this rotary business. I would really appreciate it if some could help me out. Thanks

What year engine did you end up getting? There is an injector impedence difference between the years. Here this will explain better than I can: http://rotaryresurrection.com/rotary.../injector.html
Also, the injectors could simply be clogged or stuck shut.

^^^ what he said. That would be my best guess. Even if the motor is not JDM you still may have the fuel lines reversed.
Also, you may have a big vac leak. I would suspect the intakes somewhere along the lines.
New gaskets?? Torqued to proper specs with the proper sequence?
