Okay.. Let me get this straight..
You still get the 2 lights when you first turn the key to on? Then they go out?
Try this:
Jumper the fuel pump test connector (yellow plug by the right shock tower). Then try to start. Report back.

My WAG (wild *** guess):
Fuel filter is clogged
AFM is unplugged
Large vac leak - Check the hoses under the intake tube and the brake booster vac line.
Do you get any error codes with the engine off and the ignition on?
Can you jump the fuel pump relay and hear the fuel running through the fuel rails?
Don't worry about trying to set the TPS. Do that after you get the car running...A bad TPS will not stall the car.

I had the same problem...
I had the same problem last year. Someone broke into my car and they stole my intake. You should check the MAF and make sure it's plugged in... unplug it and plug it back in. I don't know how it happened but it was the source to all my problems. My car would start just fine but would shut off in 3-5 seconds. I was getting pissed and I didn't wanna mess with the vaccum lines cause I was inexperienced with them. so Ijust start unplugging one thing at a time.. and that was it....
hope this helps!

sounds to me like a plugged up or broken up catalytic converter, remove the O2 sensor and try running the car, it will be loud but if it runs consistently then i would remove the cats and inspect them, one or more may have melted or borken up and plugged up the mufflers or another cat.
