HELP!! ATP sensor ECT sensor...
Hey guys, I'm in a bind with my car. What is the ATP sensor? Where exactly is it, and what relationship does it have with my ECT sensor? Im running an N333 ecu with rtek1.7 if that helps any. We're currently working on the car as i'm typing lol, we've scanned the car and keep pulling the code 03 which is for the ECT sensor, the wiring was exposed so that was repaired as well as the sensor itself. after all that it still pulls the code, so we have been doing a continuity test, and we cant seem to get a connection. here is the wiring diagram that we have been referencing to, it's from mitchell on demand 5.

ATP= Atmospheric sensor and it's located behind the passenger kick panel.
Code 3 would be for the Water Thermosensor. Generally, the problem with the sensor arises from a poor plug connection as the pins inside the plug pull back making it hard for the plug to mate with the sensor. There are two wires for the plug such that one is Black which is the ground and the other is Green/White which runs to the ECU at pin 2I. The reading at pin 2I should be 2 to 3 volts w/a cold engine and .4 volts when fully warmed. Both of these sensors are input sensors for the ECU so it can vary the fuel supply etc.

We got it fixed. after tearing half the car apart, and tracing tons of wires in the harness... the two pins inside of the connector backed out, making an intermittent connection to the ect sensor. we pushed them both back in, they snapped into place, and now the car runs like its supposed to lol. it even shoots flames out of the 3 inch turbo back exhaust lol Thanks for the help!
