man i took the damn motor apart in my garage and looked at the damn apex seals myself. they were all split down the middle no the dealer ship didn't tell me that i never listen to the dealerships. i pulled the old motor out myself as well. so until you guys actually come to my house and look at all the old apex seals. i suggest to just believe the fact that ALL SIX were shot. It may be rare but its not impossible. and once again i did the motor tear down myself.

You mean long-wise? They are ALL split that way in a factory motor. They are 3 piece apex seals. So, when you take them out.. you should see exactly what "1.3 liter V8 eater" showed you in his picture. They won't look as new... and might be a LOT thinner (because of the mileage, they wear)... but they will be like...

What's with all the damn bickering? If he says they were shot they were shot.. I don't know about you but to me it doesn't matter anymore since they are no longer in the motor. For all we know they may have been good, who cares? Forget about whether or not he was taken for a ride. That's in the past and not helping his question. If he has done a compression test and is getting acceptible results. Then on to the next step. I honestly don't know what he has or has not done anymore because the thread got ridiculous too quick. If you are not going to help or share any useful knowledge then don't reply just let the thread die.
On topic. I'm having kinda similar problems.. I'm pretty sure I know what it is.. I'm just waiting for it to get warmer. Anyway.. Someone should probably tell him to look in the FSM.
BTW I don't have a camera either.

I have a set of actuators you can have for free just pay me for shipping.
I doubt this is your problem though.
I also have had people wonder how in the hell can you blow all 3 apex seals in one rotor on an NA but it has happened to my friend and myself. It's very easy if you have a piece get stuck they can damage the other seals.
You really don't have any reason to talk bad about this guy. Why don't you go on a honda forum and tell some guy his B18 doesn't have vtech or something because only the other b18 type thingy has it if you're wanting to be a douche.

how old are your spark plugs to your knowledge? and what's the mileage on your car. clogged cats and fouled out plugs is what my car was experiencing. cleared things right up changing the spark plugs and doing what you cant do in CA. just a thought.

Yoo im having that problem now.. can you please tell me what was wrong with it that made it run like that. i cant figure it out..

first off, check the tps.
just because it checked out under 5.5k doesnt mean that it isnt reading 4k when its suppose to be at 2k
the car does fuel cut, accl enrichment, etc with it, so it has to be pretty accurate.
when the throttle is closed, is the throttle body at the correct angle? that matters too
are there any vaccum leaks? that could mess it up
afm? same deal.
how is the motor condition? good compression?
when you take the tps out,, it just tells the motor to default at a certain tps position, so it will stop tryign to do fuel cuts, enrichments, etc at the wrong time.... now, you have to find out what is causing it to do those things at the wrong time....

Rather late to the thread, and this is a really basic thing to suggest, but... are you 100% certain that you have all the spark plug wires going to the right places? When I swapped in a new block on my convertible I managed to initially get several of the wires swapped around, and the effect of it was very similar to what you've mentioned (heavy bogging on anything but -very- gentle acceleration).
