heater relays

ok posted on here last week about the heater fan not working. told you all that the relay is clicking but nothing goes. replaced the logicon too. i got new relays and put them on the ones that are by each other on the front side of the blower. then one of you said to replace a resistor and a relay located on the top of the blower. well i went to the donner car and dropped the hole plasic unit that holds the blower in . i saw no resistor or relays. i did see on the top back side one unit that was black and had a metal unit atcahed to i kindaa though it looked like a starter . and then one small black item on opesite side that something plugs into. so i wasnt sure if those were it but that al that was there above. i just went ahead and took the hole unit for 40 bucks.

did i get the right htings? again the relay clicks when i slide the adjuster bar just the fan doesnt turn. and no fuse i gone. also repladed the fan it works i tested it on battery.

ok, i went ahead and installed the new unit. got the blower working now. now i can put my hand on the vents but it doesnt feel like the air coming out is going any faster when you adjust the slider. you can hear the fan slowing down and speeding up. perhaps itsn ot getting enough voltage? has a new logicon. anyone have any ideas.
when i installed the hole blower unit , is there something i couldve installed incorrectly for it now th be blwing faster air. iits been over a year sence the thing has owrked so i really dont rember how fast the air came out orginally.
any adive or input would be nice.

thanks

is the blower and logicon out of the same series rx7? i just had to take all that crap out and replace some connectors that were cut when my stereo was stolen and a lot of the wires are different colors on the harnesses. i dont know if they are ran differently or just different colors but it could be something to look into.

the junk yard did not tell me what year the doner car was. the wires however did match up with my 7. no different colors at all. i had my radiotor flushed and they told me my heater core was fine so i know im creating heat. its just weird. im thinking perhaps the fan is spinning down there now but not getting enough juice. i used those round connectors that you put two wires into and crip down so maybe its not getting a good enough connection. or maybe something else is damaged on the unit that is not openning the vent part. anyone else got any info or input? please help out
