Headlight switch

So the function of the headlight switch in my car is working 99%. The dim function, retraction of headlights, and low beam function all work. However, in those rare cases where I need to utilize the high beam function they do turn on. The problem comes when needing to turn them off. In order to turn them off in my car I have to turn the headlights off completely, and retract the lamps down. Turn the switch on again to turn low beams back on.

Is this a problem with the switch? Is there a relay or module that could have possibly gone out? I searched but couldn't find anything related to my problem.

It's either the toggle switch or the Dimmer Relay.

Is there any way I can check the toggle switch with the connecting pins? Does the dimmer control work in conjunction to the headlights?

When the dimmer relay receives a ground on the White/Blue wire the low beams switch to high beams and vis versa. W/the lights on the low beam setting place a ground on the White/Blue wire and see if the high beams turn on. Then remove the ground and see if the lights revert back to the low beam setting. Try this a couple of times or so.
