Headlight Motors

Sorry if this has already been covered, searched and couldn't find what i need to know...

From what i did find, s4 headlight motors have an external relay

s5 headlight motors have an internal relay
is this much true?

I have an s4 in need of one and can get ahold of an s5 vert headlight motor but its a bit of a drive and I can't confirm which style motor it has.

If the s5 has the internal relay style, are they interchangeable? would it plug into my s4 chassi harness and work?

Thanks

I remember having to replace one side and I noticed that the one I was putting in had a relay.
I plugged it in and it worked..so I say NO difference.
BUT this thread will bump just so someone can confirm.
Good luck.

S5 internal relay'd headlight motors ARE a direct fit and plug into the S4 chassis harness. works just the same and for what its worth, it also operates at the exact same speed as my S4 headlight motor
