no, you cant. The downpipe connects to the stock exhaust manifold. the header connects to the engine block. Wont work.

Im assuming you have an NA, if you dont, then know that turbos dont use headers

By my understanding it goes (with N/A) Header, to Midpipe (racepipe), to Y pipe (if u run duals), to mufflers.

i believe they're the same...anyoen got pics of their turbo mani?

You CANT have a header AND a downpipe, a header mates to either a cat converter, or a midpipe. The point of the header is to rid yourself of the pre-cats AND the stock manifold which is more designed to quiet down the car then to give it power.

One could certainly fabricate a turbo header. The gains should be obvious.

I think you are talking about this race pipe, right? Well, you could probably take it to your local exhaust shop and have them cut, and possible bend, your race pipe and weld on a flange so it will mate up to the header.

Or, if you buy an RB header get their presilencer while your at it and save your self a lot of trouble. Those presilencers are built to mate the header to the y-pipe (if you are using dual exhaust).

Dont use the presilencer on the race pipe. My friend did that and it sounded like **** (buzzes.) Just go ahead and buy a header and presilencer combo from racing beat. That presilencer is the best at keeping resonation to a minimum. -Gabe
