Haveing some ISSUES with my REX7 - Hope someone can help solve them with me.
- 6PI sticks
- secondary fuel injectors come online too slowly (3800 RPM hesitation)
- thermowax gets "sticky" (erratic idle)
- BAC and ABSV go bad, causing "bouncing" or"hunting" idle
Ok, my car has never needed a kill switch or had a flooding issue.
#1 - When i start up my car, sometimes the idle goes up and down like its looking for the right idle speed.
#2 - If i hold the gas down till it revs a 1.5RPM the rpms sit there and bounce around like vrm vrm vrmm vrmm.
#3 - At 3800 it kinda feels like it stops trying then it gets faster after 4000.
#4 - when i go over speed bumps my suspension makes a sound like your jumping on a bed with old springs.
If anyone has the time - I would like to know how to fix these issues so my 7 can run smooth like the day it was made!

You can find alot of answers to your questions in older threads; just search through them. It might not be the funnest way to do things, but you'll get all your answers in maybe an hour istead of waiting days for people to reply. The suspension noises probably mean it's time for new stuff. But sometimes new stuff makes noises too. I have alot of suspension mods and it still creaks a lil. These cars were not meant to be quiet.

Try these plus just do searches on any given subject and copy over to a clipboard and print. I've got a neat notebook started with fixes, mods, etc.
