Have No Clue Why

ok so i am a noob and this is my first post i just recently got a 1991 rx-7 convertable well my dilema is it wont start i tryed the deflooding method i found on line did not seem to help it act like it wants to start and then it doesnt i would really like to get this car running it is a beautiful little car and fun to drive i am sure anyway the woman i got it from said it started she drove it about 1/4 mile down the road and it just stalled hasnt started since do you think changing the plugs would help or has someone got any insight to what it might be if you havent geussed it i have no clue when it comes to a rotary motor have never seen or dealt with one before now just seems like alot of stuff to worry about for a engine that everyone has told me is the simplest design anyway thanks in advance for any replys i get thanks

did it ever run for you???

if so it is probably still flooded. Make sure you have a fully charged battery, and hold the accellerator all the way down, while cranking. DO NOT PUMP THE ACCELLERATOR while cranking.

YOu can also check the condition of the leading (lower) spark plugs. Replace them if center electrode tips are rounded or the spark plug itself is covered with black carbon build up. Also make sure the air filter is clean, as a dirty filter will further add too flooding issues.
