some may call it other things its just called that from what i know. the "Dartboard" mod is basically a divider behind the seats to separate the front from the truck in hatchbacks. From what i heard its supposed to cause less wind resistance or "capture" when you have the windows down. It's just the only ac i have is 2 down @ 80 and i thought this would be a good idea for those that dont want to race with the windows up sweating.

In Southern California, you are one brave soul.
Your proposal makes sense, like how convertible cars have the little air screen between the two headrests on a car. (Think Honda S2000)
See if there is any change in airflow by rigging up a cardboard wall or something along those lines.

I doubt this idea will do anything but block your rear vision. If you don't want to be sweating, putting the fan and controls (which weigh practically nothing compared to the weight of the car) back in would be smarter.

well having driven a truck can attest that the air will be more turbulent. it keeps the cabin cooler. the FC's cabin airflow is poor, but that's partially because it's aerodynamic.
I find that opening the drivers window fully and the passenger's window halfway creates enough turbulence to keep it reasonable.

Actually if we had bug deflectors over the windows we would probably be fine.
In a Porsche 944, when you remove the metal sunroof there is a black piece that is a wind deflector. Protrudes maybe 2" above the car, but makes a helluva difference. With it down and out of the stream, INTENSE turbulence in the cabin... painful to the ears. With it up, no turbulence. Airflow is a weird thing.

Mine was broken when I got my car, but I fixed it. It makes a noticable difference in airflow.
