![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
car turns over, i have fuel and spark...it will finally catch start then die almost immediatly. tried bump starting after battery died and it will stay on if still being pulled by other car cant hold throttle steady though. my guess is timing or TPS? tryed troublehooting in haynes but everything listed is when the car is on. tested ohms in CAS and both Leading and Trailing coil packs and everything is good. split air pipe/EGR/ACV/sub zero all removed didnt think any those factors mattered about starting but trying give you as much info as i can to solve this starting/idle flaw..brand new rebuild o miles on her and everuthing worked fine when pulled.
thanks

Fresh rebuilds often have low compression, especially if you assembled with used housings, rotors, apex seals, side seals or any combination thereof (though I think the housings will make the biggest difference). You may have vacuum leaks, and since it's a fresh rebuild you may also have things that didn't get plugged in right or wiring that got damaged somewhere between this motor and the last. I'd say you have a lot of possible sources for this problem.
