Hard hesitation at 4800 in 4th gear

I was on the highway last night al by myself after I got out of work around 12, so I decide to test my 88 TII. This car is in immaculate shape with only 78k miles. But anyway I'm seeing how it does in fourth, and right around 4800-5000 I hit a very hard hesitation. It feels like I'm hitting a wall. I have heard similar descriptions of fuel cut, but this car is completely stock. Any ideas?

Right about where it always is, maybe 3/4? I can repeat it too so it's not a one time thing.
