Hard cold starting
Car is an 86 Base model. 160K miles, all new vaccuum and fuel hoses and banjo bolt mod.
Runs good warm, starts fine warm no smoke, coolant seals are good
Car starts hard cold and must be started at WOT (after excessive cranking), gives off a small puff of putrid smelling smoke.
please expand my list of possible problems before I go troubleshooting
Bad or disconected water thermo sensor
air leaks in intake ducting before TB
TPS?

FPR is the only other thing poping in my head at the moment.
If you go WOT as soon as you sit in the car you are saying you have to crank for a lengthy time period before she goes and puffs out smoke. Now what if you do not touch the throttle at all?
Cold = needs more fuel
Hot = Needs much less fuel
to run.
